Job description

This Project Controls Coordinator (PCC) position is responsible for supporting the Project Controls Team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Controls PCs with coordinating duties, opening/closing Phase codes, internal change requests, data entry, job cost adjustments, accruals, and deliverables (Weekly Cost, Production, and Earned Value reports.)
  • Assist with tracking Change Order logs, RR, Drawdowns, and updating/distributing the accounts receivables and CO logs.
  • Assist with Purchasing logs and Equipment Logs.
  • Assist PMs, Directors, VPs, and PCMs with accounts receivables, special reports, requests, or analysis.
  • Work with Field Engineers and Timekeepers to ensure report accuracy in person-hours daily.
  • Work with Field Engineers to ensure report accuracy for quantities daily, daily productivity, and plan percent complete.
  • Assist with PCs on Ecosys setup, manual B2W true-ups, Job Cost, Client, Equipment, Trend, and Production Reports
  • Analyze data and correct mistakes with or without guidance from supervisor
  • Notary experience is a plus; the company will assist with training and supply costs.
  • Assist PMs, Directors, VPs, and PCMs with special reports, requests, analysis, subcontractor/EPC daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure data accuracy.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • A two (2) year Associate or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or Project Management.
  • 0-2 years of administrative/coordinator experience, and there is a preference for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Generation.

Preferred Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to notice trends in data, problem solve, or escalate issues to proper manager.
  • Understanding of project cost accounting principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of the required federal and state codes for the project.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.
  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Dedication to continual process improvement
