Job description

The Level II PCI Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of precast/prestressed concrete products in accordance with PCI standards and company procedures. This role combines hands-on quality control responsibilities with a structured 12-month training program designed to develop future leadership within the organization.
During the training period, the technician will perform and oversee daily quality control activities, including testing, inspection, and documentation, while gaining progressive exposure to supervisory and management functions. The individual will also support and coordinate the training and development of Quality Control Technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices, safety standards, and PCI certification requirements.
This position requires strong technical knowledge of precast concrete processes, attention to detail, and the ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership potential, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to effectively communicate with both field and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections on precast/prestressed concrete products
Conduct and document testing in accordance with PCI and ASTM standards
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with specifications
Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes
Maintain accurate inspection and testing records
Communicate quality issues and corrective actions to supervisors and production staff
Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
PCI Level II Certification (required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
