Job description

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Willoughby, OH | Type: Full-Time

Qualtech Technologies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble, troubleshoot, and refurbish electrical box assemblies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electromechanical components using customer drawings and work instructions
  • Perform soldering and PCB rework; troubleshoot PCBAs using schematics and BOMs
  • Inspect and refurbish assemblies to IPC standards
  • Build wire harnesses (soldering/crimping)
  • Conduct functional testing using DMMs, scopes, Hipot testers, and other equipment
  • Complete test and inspection documentation accurately
  • Use hand and power tools; lift and stand throughout shift
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • Strong soldering and PCB rework skills
  • IPC certification preferred (not required)
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Experience with wire harness assembly a plus
  • Detailoriented and able to work independently or in a team
