Job Requirements

Who We Are:

Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we are able to solve problems better, faster. This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers. As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you. The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills

What You will Do:

• Design, review, and support custom electronic boards, including analyzing requirements, validating schematics, and ensuring design robustness for manufacturing and testing • Perform detailed schematic reviews to identify design risks related to power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, and component selection • Lead and support board bring-up activities, including power sequencing checks, voltage validation, and early-stage hardware verification • Conduct in-depth board-level electrical debugging, isolating issues across power rails, high-speed signals, interfaces, and peripheral components • Troubleshoot complex PCB issues related to signal integrity, noise, timing, power fluctuations, and component failures using systematic debugging approaches • Execute precise soldering, desoldering, and rework activities on SMD and through-hole components including ICs, connectors, resistors, capacitors, and fine-pitch devices • Perform component replacement and board modifications such as adding jumpers, resistors, capacitors, wires, and patch fixes to enable design validation or issue resolution • Provide hands-on lab support during prototype development, engineering validation, and design verification testing phases • Use advanced lab instruments including oscilloscopes (high-bandwidth/high-resolution), digital multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and logic analyzers to capture and analyze electrical behavior • Analyze waveforms, voltage levels, current consumption, noise profiles, and timing characteristics to diagnose and resolve hardware issues effectively • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (hardware design, firmware, validation,

manufacturing) to debug issues and ensure smooth product development cycles • Document debugging activities, test procedures, root-cause analysis, and rework details clearly for knowledge sharing and traceability • Support prototype builds, hardware modifications, ECO (Engineering Change Orders), and board repair activities • Maintain lab infrastructure including test setups, fixtures, cables, instruments, and hardware inventory in an organized and operational state

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with strong fundamentals in electronics • Proven hands-on experience in PCB design support, board bring-up, and hardware debugging in a lab environment • Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, including power supplies, signal integrity, and high-speed design fundamentals • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets, and technical design documentation • Practical expertise in soldering, desoldering, and PCB rework, including handling of SMD components and fine-pitch ICs • Experience in component-level debugging, including identifying faulty components and performing replacements or modifications • Proficiency in using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, high-bandwidth scopes, digital multimeters, DC power supplies, function generators, and logic analyzers • Strong debugging and analytical skills to independently troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide structured root-cause analysis • Familiarity with PCB design and layout tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, KiCad, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory) • Exposure to high-speed interfaces, signal measurement techniques, and board-level failure analysis is an advantage • Understanding of test methodologies, probing techniques, fixtures, and lab best practices including safety and equipment handling • Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills to effectively collaborate across engineering teams • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced lab environment while supporting prototype development and validation activities

Pay Range: $100 K – $150 K Yearly

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
