About the Opportunity:
The Process Engineer (PE) develops and implements systems and equipment procedures used in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing processes.
What You'll Do:
  • Develops, modifies and improves manufacturing processes that will result in better throughput and yields
  • Conducts risk assessments and monitors process performance throughout the production cycle
  • Troubleshoots manufacturing process, and equipment problems
  • Evaluates and tests processes and equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturing specs and environmental and safety regulations
  • Develops and updates engineering documents such as ECRs, process maps, pFMEA, SOPs, part drawings, Test Reports, and Travelers
  • Researches and recommends new production equipment; designs and plans equipment layout and implementation

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Knowledge of PCB specifications and fabrication techniques
  • Working knowledge in rigid, flex, and rigid-flex printed circuit boards
  • Basic knowledge working with ERP, Minitab or statistical analysis software
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawing and GD&T
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality standards and practices

California Pay Range
$70,000-$100,000 USD
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
