Job description

Job Summary for Weekend On-Call Caregiver 

Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines, NC is seeking a reliable, honest, caring individual that enjoys spending time with seniors. This position will provide non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients as well as home management services. Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment. This position will provide skilled care giving services in urgent situations. The On-Call Caregiver must be available every other weekend from 5 PM Friday - 9 PM Sunday. This position is guaranteed 15 hours of pay as long as all offered shifts are accepted. Response time for an open shift should not exceed 20 minutes.

Pay ranges from $15 - $17 / hour.

Caregiver Job Requirements:

  • Must be available every other Friday 5pm - Sunday 9pm
  • Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and current insurance policy
  • At least one year professional experience as a caregiver or home health aide
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
  • Team player who values friends and family
  • Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screen
