Personal Care Assistant - PCA
Position Summary
  • This position provides personal care and related services to patient in the home.
Essential Functions
Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, have exceptional customer service, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:
  • Follows the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care/services to the patient.
  • Help the patient maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed by Patient Care Plan.
  • Encourage the patient's independence but not exceed their capabilities outlined out in the Patient's Care Plan.
  • Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
