Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide to support clients with personal care, household tasks, and daily activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility, transfers, and exercise routines
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Remind clients to take medications
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or mental condition
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when necessary
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
Requirements:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- PCA certification or caregiver training may be required depending on state/employer
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to lift or assist clients safely
