Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a PC Technician to assist with various IT-related tasks. The role involves processing customer requests, managing inventory, and configuring PCs and peripherals.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Processes customer requests, provides order status and responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
โ€ข Cellular order process and tracking
โ€ข Attention to detail
โ€ข Excel reporting capabilities including: Data analysis and summary of data being tracked.
โ€ข Manage stockroom inventory and maintains re-order thresholds for IT products.
โ€ข Provides reports regarding PC inventory, installation, and end-of-life activities.
โ€ข Resolves order and inventory issues as they arise.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned by the Enterprise Workstation Services Manager or PC Install and Support Services Team Lead.
โ€ข Configures, delivers, and installs PCs, peripherals, and corporate standard software.
โ€ข Oversees the building and maintenance of corporate computer images for laptops and desktops.
โ€ข Organizes and oversees the return of leased computer equipment, and prepares out-of-date equipment for donation or disposal.
โ€ข Provides information for use in management decisions on the selection of desktop, laptop, and computer peripherals.
โ€ข Maintains inventory of computers and components.
โ€ข Serves as backup to PC support specialists, providing end-user support under their guidance and direction.
โ€ข Contributes, as a subject matter expert (SME) to the development, implementation and maintenance of PC-related policies, procedures, and standards that conform with organizational objectives and IT industry best practices.
โ€ข Documents technical issues and their resolution, in accordance with corporate standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Associateโ€™s degree in a computer-sciences related field, or equivalent and demonstrable training and experience.
โ€ข One (1) or more years experience as a full-time professional in the field of information technology, with a strong grasp of computer hardware and software fundamentals.
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, problem solving, and time-management skills.
โ€ข Dedication to on-going technical education, both as a student and a teacher.
โ€ข Able to perform heavy lifting.
Preferred:
โ€ข Microsoft certifications are a plus.
