THERAPIST LSW/PC
SAMARITAN BEHAVORIAL HEALTH-MIAMI COUNTY
Full Time, M-F 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM, 80 hours per pay
The Therapist functions as a member of a team to assist in the planning, development, and delivery of outcome-effective treatment services in various types of settings. This position also functions to plan and deliver both on-site and off-site clinical case coordination, intervention, consultation and/or educational services to children, adolescents and families.
Job duties:
โ€ข Demonstrate adherence to the PHP/SBHI Patient Experience philosophy, guidelines and tools.
โ€ข Demonstrate strong ethics, honesty, and adherence to PHP/SBHI Code of Conduct and PHP/SBHI Compliance Program.
โ€ข Schedule, provide and document all clinical services accurately and according to departmental standards utilizing and documenting evidenced based practices.
โ€ข Collaborate with referral source, internal team members and external educational and service providers to ensure appropriate patient care and continuity of care.
โ€ข Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the appropriate clinical services and intervention methods provided to patients and their families.
โ€ข Seek medical provider consultations regarding clinical needs of patients. Maintain on-going communication with medical providers for the purpose of coordinating and evaluating patient care.
โ€ข Demonstrate strong customer satisfaction skills in the provision of clinical care services and in coordinating care with referral sources and other stakeholders.
โ€ข Demonstrate knowledge of SBHI clinical records and assigned Program and other paperwork standards. Apply competencies to both the provision and documentation of clinical records including resolving failed activities and alerts within required timeframes.
โ€ข Demonstrate compliance with agency standards for administration and reporting of outcome measures and documentation of utilization management of clinical care.
โ€ข Demonstrate knowledge of other regulatory standards. Ensure that clinical records are maintained in compliance with these standards at all times.
โ€ข Demonstrate knowledge of Information Technology policies and procedures. Apply them to the documentation of clinical care according to clinical records and other agency standards.
โ€ข Ensure all credentialing paperwork for managed care and other reimbursement parties is maintained in compliance with standards.
โ€ข Attend required staff meetings and trainings including annual Healthstream trainings. Participate in case conferences as needed.
โ€ข Meet consistently with Program Supervisor and as needed to review clinical care of patients according to licensing and agency standards and agency supervision plan.
โ€ข Participate and complete and correct monthly Peer Reviews.
โ€ข Ensure productivity standards are met consistently as applicable to departmental standards.
โ€ข Attend all offered internal trainings regarding BH Redesign.
โ€ข Will consistently attend staff meetings that include case staffings.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
โ€ข Master's degree in a relevant social science field.
โ€ข Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LISW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
โ€ข Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team, with age appropriate competency, using the
โ€ข Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM- 5 or subsequent revisions).
