About the Role
Our client, a well-established mutual insurance company headquartered in Owatonna, MN, is seeking a PC Computer Technician to support their Information Systems (IS) PC Tech team. This is an onsite, temporary opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. As part of a respected organization in the insurance industry, you''ll gain valuable experience while helping ensure business partners have the hardware and software support they need to succeed.

Job Description
The PC Computer Technician will work onsite assisting the IS PC Tech team with a variety of tasks related to installing, setting up, tearing down, moving, and supporting both software and hardware. This role offers a strong foundation in technical support, with training and mentorship provided by the current team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, set up, tear down, and relocate computer hardware and software.
  • Provide day-to-day support for software and hardware needs.
  • Collaborate with a team member at either the ATA or downtown complex to support business partners.
  • Complete tasks independently or with assistance, as needed.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of business and personnel information.
Training and Mentorship:
  • The current team will provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you succeed in the role.
Work Environment:
  • You''ll work primarily alongside one other team member at either the ATA or downtown complex, partnering to support business needs.
Work Schedule:
  • Onsite, Mondayโ€“Friday, from 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service skills with a willingness to learn basic hardware-related tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
