Job description

A Layout Inspector is responsible for executing CMM programs and accurately interpreting inspection results.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect using PC-DMIS or CMM Manager software. • Understand and operate relevant equipment and software.

• Read and understand customer-supplied and internal activity instructions.

• Verify quality of work and identify/correct bad data prior to export.

• Utilize appropriate documentation techniques for report creation.

• Create quotes based on customer RFQs.

• Perform incidental tasks as required to complete larger assignments.


Qualifications and Training Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CMM programmer/inspector in aerospace.

• Working knowledge of GD

• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Capable of multitasking.

• Able to read and follow written a

nd verbal instructions.

• Strong communication skills (internal and external).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
