The Senior Director of Price Execution is a dedicated business process owner responsible for managing the increased pricing complexities needed to support the company’s merchandising and operations strategies.  This position will focus on leading a team in the execution pricing for all categories including everyday prices, promotional pricing, and coupon offerings. This position works with the pricing team to develop processes that provide adequate financial controls, analysis and reporting, and partners with Store Operations, Merchandising and Planning to build consensus and deliver results.


Job Details
  • Manage all aspects related to executing against the pricing strategy, including providing financial forecasts to Merchandising and Financial Planning teams, partnering with Store Operations on store expectations and communication and ensuring final prices are executed accurately in stores.

  • Drive improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of all pricing processes and monitor all internal controls to ensure compliance.

  • Work with IT to develop and improve all systems related to pricing and take responsibility for testing and approving the implementation of changes to any system impacting processes owned. This includes both existing systems, as well as the implementation of AI-driven solutions.

  • Create and manage all Core Markdown cadences; while leveraging analytics and the Markdown optimization tool.

  • Manage the performance and development of all members of the pricing team.

  • Advanced analytical skills and PC skills including common spreadsheet and presentation software.

  • Ability to analyze data and translate analysis into specific, targeted action to drive results.

  • Advanced organizational and communication skills, with specific experience in pushing for results by building consensus at peer-level.

  • Proven ability to manage projects successfully to completion on a timely basis, within budget.

  • Ability to build and develop a high performance team.

  • Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated ability to deliver against financial targets.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to define processes that increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Work Experience &/or Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in a related field (Finance, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.) is preferred.

  • 8+ years of related experience within retail or manufacturing.

  • Experience successfully navigating and influencing multiple levels within an organization.
