Job description

As an Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative, you will support clients with their employee benefits programs, assist with day-to-day service needs, and help provide a positive experience throughout the policy lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing responsive and professional customer service.
  • Support sales agents by collecting client information, assembling necessary documentation, and submitting data to insurance carriers for new business and renewal quotations.
  • Assist clients with employee benefits inquiries, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit programs.
  • Support new business, renewals, and account maintenance by preparing paperwork, processing changes, and coordinating with insurance carriers.
  • Respond to client requests and questions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems.
  • Communicate benefit plan information and enrollment materials to clients as needed.
  • Stay informed regarding carrier updates, industry trends, regulations, products, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications
