POSITION SUMMARY:At Principle Business Enterprises (PBE), we create products that improve lives—for the people who use them and the caregivers who support them. As we continue to invest in our manufacturing operations, we’re looking for an Industrial Electrician (known internally as an Electrical Tech) to help keep our production environment running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the electrical systems and equipment that our manufacturing facility depends on every day. This position is ideal for someone with solid electrical fundamentals who is genuinely curious about how control systems and automation work—and motivated to grow in that direction over time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on manufacturing equipment including motors, relays, switches, and sensors

  • Perform and document preventive maintenance on electrical systems per established schedules
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
  • Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motion control systems
  • Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair PLC and HMI control equipment to support troubleshooting and diagnostics; build familiarity with control systems over time with engineering support
  • Follow LOTO procedures and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
  • Log repair actions and parts usage in the maintenance system (CMMS)
  • Communicate equipment status and findings clearly to engineering and supervision

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- 3 or more years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Solid working knowledge of motors, drives, and motion control systems
  • LOTO-qualified; familiar with NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts, comfortable diagnosing problems independently
  • Genuine curiosity about controls and automation—a self-directed learner who actively seeks to understand how systems work and fill in their own knowledge gaps

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Technical diploma, associate’s degree, or completed electrician apprenticeship

  • Foundational knowledge of industrial controls systems—PLCs, drives, HMIs, and motion controls. Allen Bradley familiarity a plus
  • CMMS experience for work order and PM tracking

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Must be able to stand for long periods; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have close, distance, color, & peripheral vision abilities along with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
