Rootshell Enterprise Technologies Inc. is a recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US. We are actively seeking Tax Senior Analyst for one of our direct client, Please share your resume with current location & full contact info
Role: Tax Senior Analyst
Location:Remote
Duration: Long term
Responsibilities:
- Clean up/organize various workpapers, converting PBCS from Oracle R12 to EPBCS from Oracle Cloud parameters as needed
- Assist service providers in preparation of foreign tax returns for countries such as IT, SG, UK, JP, PL, FI, FR and review foreign tax returns
- Assist in tax examinations, tax notices, and audit requests
- Update and maintain tax payments/refunds status in the region
- Prepare return to provision with ending deferred tie-out/true-up
- Rollover YE and Q1 tax provision workpapers
- Stay current on tax issues
- Prepare YE and Q1 foreign tax provision calculations, VA Analysis, and payable recons
- Assist in preparation of financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, SFRS, and local GAAP
- Prepare 8865 workpapers and 987 calculations
- Research and analyze various tax issues as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years plus working experience with BIG 4 and/or corporate tax department is preferred
- Experience with ASC740 and financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, SFRS preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, SmartView PBCS, and insightsoftware Excel4Apps GL Wand preferred
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud: SmartView EPBCS, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBI EE), and Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA/Chartered Accountant/Equivalent certification preferred
- U.S. ONLY - EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
- Nice to have: experience with process/SOP documentation and flowchart preparation, experience with UiPath automation
