What You Will Do:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis to optimize inventory planning, procurement scheduling, and material flow, ensuring efficient execution of inventory purchases and deliveries.

  • Develop and maintain data-driven forecasting models using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to predict inventory demand, analyze consumption trends, and support new product introductions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and internal stakeholders, to align material supply strategies with production schedules and customer requirements.

  • Leverage statistical methods and predictive analytics to assess and maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess and obsolete stock.

  • Generate and automate procurement recommendations using MRP outputs and inventory optimization algorithms to ensure cost-effective material availability.

  • Develop and track supplier performance metrics, analyzing trends in quality, lead time, and fulfillment rates; implement corrective actions to enhance supplier reliability.

  • Adjust procurement strategies dynamically based on real-time supplier capacity constraints, demand fluctuations, and production priorities, optimizing cost and delivery efficiency.

  • Design and execute supplier performance scorecards, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, defect rates, and responsiveness, and present data-driven insights to suppliers.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvement methodologies to improve supply chain performance.

  • Evaluate and implement supply chain strategies to improve inventory turnover rates, including vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and consignment agreements.

  • Conduct rigorous supplier assessments using data analytics to evaluate cost-effectiveness, quality consistency, and supply chain resilience.

  • Drive negotiations with suppliers based on comprehensive cost-benefit analysis, optimizing pricing structures, payment terms, and working capital management.

  • Develop risk-mitigation strategies by analyzing global supply chain disruptions, implementing alternative sourcing plans, and improving supply chain resilience.

  • Utilize ERP and advanced supply chain analytics tools to automate reporting, enhance visibility, and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Balance tactical execution with long-term strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.

Position Details:

  • Job specific location - on-site

  • Work schedule - Generally Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional evenings for international calls and occasional weekends to support urgent business needs

  • Potential travel to operation and vendor sites (both international and domestic)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, with strong foundation in supply chain optimization and process improvement.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with the ability to analyze and leverage data for informed decision-making.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting.

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, conditional formatting, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables, to drive data-driven insights and process efficiencies.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly develop technical knowledge of products and operations to enhance supply chain effectiveness.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
