What you'll own as the Software Engineer - Portal (Front End)
  • Working with a great engineering team to solve complex problems
  • Contributing to building a scalable platform, employing engineering best practices, on top of AWS
  • Collaborating to help refine our business requirements and evolve our payments platform
  • Fully owning the services that you and your team are building
  • Participating in team code reviews
  • Mentoring less experienced team members, helping them to become successful within the team and the project
  • Working with technical and non-technical people outside the team as it relates to team-owned projects/features
  • Technologies we work with: NODE-JS, TypeScript, Angular, Playwright, MariaDB, AWS EC2, S3, API Gateway and related services, GIT, GITHUB, CI, JIRA, Confluence, Qualys, Jenkins

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years' experience with software development, including expert knowledge of best practices, including code architectural patterns and code design principles and patterns with demonstrated ability to properly apply them as needed
  • Solid understanding of large-scale software systems
  • 3+ years of experience in development Angular based front-end development
  • 2+ years of experience with ExpressJS backend Development
  • Good experience with relational database systems (Postgres, MariaDB)
  • Good understanding of working with REST APIs
  • Very strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle stages and best practices around each stage
  • Demonstrated ability to technically own the delivery of medium sized features, involving multiple people within the team
  • Experience with basic cloud services for building and running cloud-native applications

The portal engineering team is responsible for delivering and supporting the portal web application that helps our partners manage their merchant boarding process, users, transactions, funding, disbursements, chargebacks, risk controls, access controls. It also provides the merchant facing user interface for individual merchants to analyze their transactions and funding activities. It provides a wide variety of reporting and analysis capabilities, dashboards etc. for the users to have intuitive and comprehensive control over their payment processing.

For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $91,900.00-$138,700.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role's responsibilities, level, and geographic location.
