MySI is a public-facing digital experience built on Next.js (hosted on Vercel) with Payload headless CMS, Supabase/Postgres data services, and Salesforce integrations. OAP is built on Salesforce Experience Cloud. Both products use Salesforce headless identity for authentication and integrate with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.

  • Integrate MySI and related products with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud through APIs, including consent/preference and subscription flows.
  • Troubleshoot and improve Salesforce headless identity flows, including registration, login, verification, session handling, logout, and cross-property user experience between MySI and OAP.
  • Implement error handling, logging, and correlation details for authentication and API failures, sufficient to support reporting on registration/login failures.
  • Support Salesforce Experience Cloud (OAP) enhancements, including content updates, UI, navigation, UAT fixes, and workflow improvements.
  • Work with Supabase/Postgres data models and CMS-to-application integration patterns.
  • Participate in Jira sprint delivery, GitHub workflows, CI/CD deployment support, technical documentation, and weekly status reporting.
  • Follow Smithsonian WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.

Required Skills

  • 5+ extensive years of professional experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web application development.

  • Headless CMS experience required; Payload CMS strongly preferred.
  • 3+ extensive experience integrating web applications with Salesforce web APIs.
  • Experience with web authentication/session flows and identity integrations; familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or Salesforce headless identity patterns is a plus.
  • Demonstrated capability in WCAG 2.1 AA implementation.
