LaForce is looking for a Staff Accountant โ€“ Payables to join our Accounting team and take ownership of key accounting functions that keep our business running smoothly. This is more than processing invoicesโ€”youโ€™ll be a trusted resource for vendors and internal teams, help navigate tax compliance, and play an important role in accurate financial reporting and planning.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Take ownership of the accounts payable process, including matching invoices, processing payments, and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Analyze expenses and ensure accurate GL coding to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams while managing credits, returns, and tax-related questions.
  • Prepare and file state sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Help keep the team up to date on changing tax regulations, requirements, and best practices.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly expense analysis.
  • Look for opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and procedures.
