Registered Sonographer

Location: Batesville, AR, 72501

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 5x 8hrs Days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Weekend: If weekend tech has requested off

Call: One Weeknight of Call per week

Compensation Break-up as per 40 Hours/Week:

Pay Rate: #####1/hr.

Job Description:

The Sonographer is responsible for performing high quality diagnostic exams/procedures in the Ultrasound department in an efficient manner according to the physician’s order.

The Sonographer works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel.

Experience in performing abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, breast, pediatric ultrasounds, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other ultrasound guided needle biopsies.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience - Required
  • Able to perform Breast Ultrasound, Breast Biopsy, Abdomen, Small Part, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and other Ultrasound Guided Procedures - Required
  • Experience with Philips Pacs and FUJI Pacs - Required
  • Experience with GE Logic E9 Machines - Required
  • ARDMS - Required
  • Must have experience with ALL patient populations (Newborn - Geriatric) - Required
  • BLS (AHA) - Required
