Job description

Groundsman - (Arbor Care Operations) - Job Description
East Coast Facilities, Inc. provides facility maintenance to commercial, industrial, institutional, government and corporate clients. Our Groundsman are experienced arbor care specialists. They provide ground support to climbers and bucket operators, chipping debris, and managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This position reports to a Arbor Care Crew Leader. 
Trade Skill Requirements

  • Drive company vehicles as directed
  • Operate various types of equipment and machinery associated with this job description
  • Has a minimum two-year proven apprenticeship in arbor care and tree trimming services.
  • Has and holds a valid Broward County Tree Trimmer license
  • Performs other assigned tasks related to landscape management

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

  • Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
  • Work near or about natural bodies of water

  • Able to work overtime or extended shifts if required by Management
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions – working temperatures may be between 0 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit 
  • Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
