Now hiring for the 2026 Construction Season!

Border States Paving is looking for an Asphalt Paving Forman -Travel Required!

Season is March-Nov depending on weather

Key duties include:

Assist with training, supervising and scheduling labor and equipment resources on a daily basis to meet construction schedule. Observe work in progress and provide guidance and direction on work procedures and techniques for quality job completion. Prepare accident and injury reports, review and sign daily time sheets, monitor equipment maintenance on assigned jobs, a valid driver’s license is necessary to drive company vehicles and equipment.

Ability and willingness to travel and work throughout ND & SD.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree, trade school in asphalt/construction management or equivalent field experience preferred. Working knowledge (2-5 years) with hands-on-heavy asphalt paving and base operations desired. Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and supervision skills necessary. Sufficient computer/software skills in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.

Salary: $36.75+/hour doe plus $21.90/hr fringe(goes towards health insurance/pension).

$400 a week per diem. Camper lot paid. Company truck
