Duties
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks to prepare and lay asphalt or concrete surfaces efficiently and safely
  • Manage crews list for each job site
  • Manage all aspects of paving (leeboy pavers)
  • Coordinate with team members to execute paving operations according to project specifications and safety standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment like paving machines and trucks, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout each shift
  • Support site cleanup and prepare materials for subsequent phases of construction
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as Leeboy paving machines, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and paving machinery
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to OSHA standards
  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues promptly
  • Prior experience working on paving or concrete projects is highly preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
