This is Harvey from Patterns hiring; I am trying to connect with you for job opportunities Warehouse Operator with one of our direct client.
                             
Position Details:
Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Cartersville, GA
Duration: Contract to hire
Shift - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Swing shift)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all Safety Rules for Department and Entire Facility.
  • Must be familiar with all Automotive handling procedures when loading and unloading trucks.
  • Perform quality inspection (i.e. proper labels, damaged boxes/cases, etc.).
  • Ensure every case is scanned before loading on a truck.
  • Verify/scan all products, raw materials, finished yarn, etc. that is received at the facility.
  • Making sure yarn is correctly loaded on trailers so the trailers are notoverweight.
  • Verifying the trailers are secure with trailer jacks before tempting to loadtrailers.
  • Placing all materials received in correct staging locations designated for materials.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Department Manager.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping (Trash, Sweeping, Mopping, and Wiping down assigned area, etc.)
  • Responsible for appropriate log documentation with loading and unloading trailers.
  • Be aware and follow the Securing Semi- Trailer Procedure: this procedure ensures the safety of personnel during all semi trailer loading and unloading operations.
  • The responsible lift truck operator must secure the trailer by placing wheel chocks, applying a glad hand lock to the air supply line, and utilizing 2 trailer jack under the nose for docked trailers.
  • The operator maintains control of the safety keys until the trailer is completely loaded and ready for release by the truck driver.
