Job description

The New Business Ventures Strategy Analyst plays an integral role in the vision, development, and execution of new ventures projects across the Pacers Sports & Entertainment ecosystem. Reporting to the AVP, Head of New Ventures & Development, this role requires an analytical skillset and strong presentation skills to support priority commercial initiatives, including database monetization, downtown commercial real estate development, emerging technology ventures, and loyalty program development. The New Business Ventures Strategy Analyst is the primary material developer for all new ventures and strategic partnerships projects. They will translate complex business data and strategic concepts into visually compelling slides, lead the development of visual storytelling frameworks, and maintain a centralized repository of slide templates to streamline presentation production and ensure brand consistency.

This role is keenly focused on identifying synergies between projects across the department and leveraging acquired knowledge to formulate recommendations. They will establish and maintain an understanding of all ongoing projects to position real-time feedback, summarize key learnings, and drive actionable next steps for the New Business Ventures team.

This role will support a spectrum of commercial strategy, partnerships, and business development tasks, including managing revenue-generating opportunities, benchmarking success for department initiatives, and communicating insights internally. The optimal candidate excels working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, using data to tell a story and drive strategic decisions, and cultivating effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support highly visible projects and work with key stakeholders to develop industry-leading partnerships & new business verticals and identify long-term growth platforms.
  • Create clear and concise executive-level presentation material and talking points to articulate opportunities, recommendations, and/or solutions that achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Prepare quantitative analysis and craft proposals and presentations tailored for diverse audiences, including internal executive stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support ad hoc requests for slide development under very tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy, polish, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry research to inform partnership strategy and solution development.
  • Develop business cases, operating plans, business models, and go-to-market strategies for new business initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams – including MarTech, Business Intelligence, and Partnerships – to design and implement scalable solutions that support partner success.
  • Collaborate with diverse project teams and exhibit best-practice project management skills and thought leadership.
  • Assess, champion, and support concepts and processes alongside department leaders to implement positive team member and stakeholder experiences.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
