Job Summary

The PG Business Process Analyst will be responsible for consolidating research, interpreting data and evaluating insights to advance decision-making processes. The PG Business Process Analyst will work closely with the management team to identify business needs, document requirements and propose solutions.

The PG Business Process Analyst position is part of a Job Family comprised of PG Associate Business Process Analyst, PG Business Process Analyst, PG Senior Business Process Analyst, and PG Principal Business Process Analyst where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Responsibilities

Develop

Design and Develop new initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct research and gather data from a variety of sources, including customer feedback, market trends and internal data systems. Evaluate current process and workflow using process mapping techniques. Develop and configure applications and processes Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Translate stakeholder conversations into documented processes and workflows. Prepare reports and presentations that communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders.

Analyze

Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, and provide insights that inform business decisions. Organize validation activities to prove effectiveness of business initiatives and suggest improvements. Partner with cross functional teams to identify solutions to business process issues. Identify risks and contribute to resolutions associated with business processes.

Manage

Collaborate with the management team to assess and identify process needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of business process and make recommendations for improvements. Develop metrics to measure the impact of process improvements on business outcomes. Manage multiple projects simultaneous and meet deadlines Provide regular progress reports to management on projects.

Other

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service and support. Perform and lead activities contributing to the integration of software solutions, business workflows, and training programs to propel WEC Energy Group to a cleaner energy future.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, economics, finance, information system technology, communications)
  • The Associate PG Business Process Analyst is entry level position. In lieu of a degree, the Associate requires five years of business experience
  • The PG Business Process Analyst requires three years of business, data analytics, or related experience. In lieu of a degree, the mid-level requires eight years of business experience
  • The Senior PG Business Process Analyst requires five years of experience in business, data analytics, or related experience. In lieu of a degree, the Senior requires ten years of business experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, organize and analyze large amounts of data * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Visio
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

End Date: 07/03/2026 

Pay Range Minimum:  $68,436.68 

Pay Range Maximum:  $135,761.08 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
