In this role, you will lead the design of digitalproducts and experiences, partnering closely withProduct Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complexproblems and deliver meaningful outcomes. You will driveproduct design initiatives from discovery through implementation,leveraginguser research, analytics, experimentation, and modern design practices to create impactful solutions.

As a member of the team, you will influenceproduct direction, elevate the quality of our design craft, and help scale the systems, standards, and practices that enablegreatproductexperiences across the organization. You will be expected to balance customer needs, business objectives, operational realities, and technical constraints while advocating for exceptional user experiences.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead end-to-endproduct design initiatives for complex digitalproducts and features, from discovery and concept development through implementation and continuous optimization.
  • Partner closely withProduct Managers, Engineers, Data teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, frameproblems, and influenceproduct direction.
  • Translate complex business and operational challenges into intuitive, scalable user experiences through user flows, wireframes,prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Champion user-centered design principles while balancing business goals, technical constraints, operational realities, and accessibility requirements.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation by partnering with cross-functional teams to define hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and iterate based on learnings.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities for optimization and measureproduct outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution, documentation, governance, and adoption of RBI's design systems, patterns, and standards, ensuring consistency and scalability acrossproducts.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout implementation to ensure design intent and quality are maintained through launch.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate research, synthesis, ideation,prototyping, content generation, and design execution.
  • Raise the quality bar through design critiques, peer reviews, and constructive feedback, helping foster a culture of craft excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support designers across the team by sharing knowledge, best practices, and effectiveproduct design approaches.
  • Stay current on emerging design methodologies, technologies, and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and modern practices to the organization.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and shipping impactful digital products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in product thinking, user-centered design, visual design, systems thinking, and end-to-end product development.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, component architecture, design systems, and collaborative workflows.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate design, prototyping, and product development. Familiarity with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma Make, and other AI-enabled product development platforms is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility, localization, responsive design, interaction design, behavioral design patterns, and modern UX best practices.
  • Experience working within and evolving design systems, pattern libraries, and scalable design operations.
  • Strong experience using qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, experimentation frameworks, and A/B testing to inform design decisions and measure product outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy, align cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate design rationale through compelling storytelling and executive-level communication.
  • Experience working in agile product development environments and partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to lead complex and ambiguous problem spaces independently, balancing competing priorities and driving initiatives from discovery through execution.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, design-to-code workflows, and implementation considerations is preferred.
  • Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, commerce, or consumer technology industries is a plus.
