You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns. * Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required. * Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: * Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Alarm panel experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
