Job description

Making sales calls and present to dealerships on a regular basis to develop a long-term relationship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the auto and RV dealerships in the designated area.
  • Handle issues between the dealerships and ICCU quickly and in a professional manner.
  • Report on the success of your dealerships and the efforts you are making to grow business with those dealers.
  • Work closely with the buy center to communicate specials and staffing changes that happen at the dealerships.
  • Research and develop new dealerships.
  • Assist other Business Development team members when needed.

Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills which include presentation and sales experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred in marketing or related field. Professional appearance, Credit Union service/product knowledge, independent, self-directed worker. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Performance Standard:
Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Knowledge of all Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.
Position Specific Additional Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine, coolers, tables, and other miscellaneous equipment).
  • Extensive local travel, this is a driving position and a company vehicle is provided.
  • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
