Patient Transporter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Transporter to join our team at Palm Garden of Mattoon LLC. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents by transporting them to and from various areas of the facility, such as appointments, treatments, and activities. Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport residents to and from appointments, treatments, and activities
• Provide assistance with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed
• Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and organized transport area, including the use of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
• Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and staff

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (training provided)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and transfer residents as needed (with assistance if necessary)
