Are you looking to expand your medical office experience? Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a Support Associate - Scheduler to our Middletown location!
The Support Associate - Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient exams, diagnostic tests, treatments and/ or surgeries.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, eight hour shifts
No evenings, weekends or holidays!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Schedules appointments and answers patient inquiries regarding appointment schedules;
โ€ข For RO specific role: processes physician orders for imaging, labs, and other follow-ups;
โ€ข Notifies patients of all pertinent information required for surgery, treatment and/or testing including any payment expected prior to the scheduled date;
โ€ข Contacts patients to clarify, reschedule and resolve issues surrounding appointment times;
โ€ข Notifies Physician as necessary regarding their schedule;
โ€ข Completes patient forms, such as insurance or leave certifications and forwards to physician for signature;
โ€ข Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic information;
โ€ข Contacts physicians' offices, labs, and testing facilities to request results and other documents as needed or requested;
โ€ข Assists other office support positions as needed or requested;
โ€ข Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values;
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and/ or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a Medical Office or administrative position scheduling appointments or other activities on a regular basis, 2-3 years' experience is preferred.
General Skill Requirements:
โ€ข Excellent oral and written communication
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
โ€ข Experience working with a Practice Management system.
โ€ข Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
