Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets and Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone.
  • Schedule appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Register new patients; review forms to ensure required fields are completed.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, insurance and financial information.
  • Collect patient charges upon check in.
  • Assist patients in answering questions or concerns, in person or on the telephone.
  • Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Complete other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the positive reputation of Centennial Medical Group by always treating patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming and compassionate manner.
