We're looking for a Behavioral Support Professional (also known as anIntensive Support Associate) to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.


Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.

In this role, you'll provide direct care and supervision with a strong focus on safety, well-being, and dignity. You'll support individuals in building daily living skills, strengthening social connections, and developing communication strategies that promote independence and meaningful community inclusion. Each day, you'll create opportunities for the people we support to work toward their goals, following individualized plans of care and support strategies. You'll also play an important role in implementing behavioral and mental health supports and using de-escalation techniques to respond thoughtfully and effectively when challenges arise.
