- Requires ARRT & BLS certification and at least 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Immediate start date
- Assists with overall clinical supervision of the radiation department
- Oversees the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
- Provides leadership, support, organization, facilitation, and problem-solving within the department
- Ensures compliance with all state, federal, Joint Commission, and national patient safety standards and policies
- Delivers timely and accurate radiation treatments as described in patient treatment plans
- Performs imaging procedures with knowledge of quality parameters (OBI and CBCT)
- Maintains current knowledge of simulation and therapy techniques; assists with procedures as needed
- Accurately performs routine dosimetry calculations
- Proficient in block cutting and fabrication of cerrobend blocks and custom treatment devices
- Coordinates patient simulation and treatment schedules
- Orders and charges daily procedures accurately and within appropriate timeframes
- Assists with patient chart checks and reviews
- Supports clinical staff in improving patient care, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other cancer center departments
- Promotes a culture of safety within the department
