HIRING ASAP *** PAY RATE $85 per hour. 

SHG Temp Staffing is currently looking for RNasto fill immediate contract openings. Interested candidates must have at least 2year of ER Registered Nursing (RN) experience in a hospital setting.

ASSIGNMENT TERMS

Assignment: 8weeks       

Hours per Week: 36hrs

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights7p-7a   

Weekend Rotation: every other weekend

Holidays Requirements: as needed   

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

A      2+ year of recent ER RN experience in thelast 18 months in a hospital setting    

A      Current RN License

A      Ability to lift 50 pounds

A      Effective oral and writtencommunication skills

A      Ability to work with adiverse patient population

A      Excellent writing andcharting skills

A      Computer literate

A      Ability to pass a Level 2background check and drug screen

A      Must possess independentproblem-solving abilities

A      Experience Preferred:Meditech charting     

A      License Required:Illinois   

A      CertificatesRequired: BLS / ACLS/ PALS, TNCC- preferred      

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

A      Perform all nursing dutiesin accordance with the scope of practice specific to the state you are workingin, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

A      Monitor patient progressand identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to ensure patientcomfort and safety.

A      Assist physicians and allhealthcare professionals caring for the patient, always giving a complete andthorough report on patient status at end of shift/assignment.

A      Perform routine nursingcare to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universalprecaution practices at all times.

A      Practice patientteaching/training for patients and families.

A      Follow hospital policywhen disposing of hazardous materials, labeling, and handling of all materials.

A      Actively demonstrate aworking knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice inorder to holistically care for the patient.
