Patient Services & Optical Associate

Location: SoHo, Manhattan

Employment Type: Full-Time

About Eye Physicians

Eye Physicians is a multi-location eye care practice serving New York, with offices in Midtown, SoHo, White Plains, and Brooklyn. We pride ourselves on combining clinical excellence with a warm, patient-first experience. We are looking for a dedicated Patient Services & Optical Associate to join our SoHo team and help us deliver exceptional care every day.

The Role

This is a patient-facing support role where you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will manage incoming calls, coordinate schedules, and assist patients with contact lens reorders. You will also have the opportunity to grow your skill set by assisting our Optometrists in a limited, non-clinical capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience: Answer and triage incoming calls, routing clinical questions to the appropriate staff.
  • Scheduling: Manage, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments via our practice management system.
  • Optical Support: Process contact lens reorders and assist with exam room tasks as trained.
  • Operations: Maintain accurate patient records and support front-desk flow during peak hours.

  • Experience: 1+ year in a medical office, optical retail, or high-touch customer service environment.
  • Communication: A warm, professional demeanor with the ability to work comfortably with a diverse patient population.

Compensation & Benefits
