The Admitting Discharge Manager at University Medical Center in Las Vegas oversees the hospital's patient admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered operations. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating scheduling and referrals, and liaising with emergency and hospital departments to optimize workflows and maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise admitting and discharge operations to maintain smooth patient flow
  • Coordinate scheduling and manage referral processing across departments
  • Liaise with emergency department and hospital units for trauma, adult, pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient admissions
  • Oversee staff performance and provide leadership in daily activities
  • Manage hospital systems including EPIC and UKG Kronos to improve workflow and compliance
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and hospital policies
  • Optimize workflows to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience

Required Qualifications
