Job Description

Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park is seeking a Supervisor for Patient Access to join our team. This position is responsible for ongoing daily operations of the Patient Access department. The Supervisor ensures that quality standards are continually achieved by the department by training, coaching, evaluating, hiring and motivating all staff, ensuring that adequate staffing is always available to operate the department, assists in establishing and monitoring quality assurance programs. This position will work closely with Outpatient and Emergency Department Patient Access team members.

Shift Details: Full Time evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for Patient Access staff in accordance with established policies and practices.

Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing of Patient Access Representativesalong with time keeping of staff

Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, Patient Access Representatives

Conducts staff quality audits, coaching

Assists Department Manager with budgets

Reports monthly goals and accomplishments

Orders supplies for department

Experience with patient registration is preferred but not required.

Associates degree or 3 years of experience is required.
