Purpose & Scope:
The Laboratory Assistant provides valuable assistance to the Medical Technologist and the Pathologists in maintaining facilities and providing the assistance necessary for sample processing and timely reporting of patient results. As a key member of the Core Lab and Pathology department, the ideal candidate is someone energetic, dependable and an adaptable individual with strong organizational skills capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and functioning independently within the scope of their duties. Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
One year of laboratory experience is preferred.
