LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Medical Lab Technician for a local contract job in Coos Bay, Oregon.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

  • Minimally must meet current qualifications listed under section โ€œClinical Laboratory Personnel Requirementsโ€ defined in the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments Act of 1988 (CLIA-88) and Oregon Department of Human Services Regulations, College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Joint Commission standards.  CAP reserves the right to set requirements that are more stringent than those of CLIA-88 [REQUIRED]
  • Associates of Science degree in Medical Technology or Clinical laboratory Science preferred (and/or MLT registry with ASCP, NCA, or HEW if obtained before 1992). If high diploma received after 1992, must have Associate degree or equivalent. A copy of academic degree or transcript will be required upon hire). [REQUIRED]

EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of, but not limited to:  LIS and HIS computer systems, specialized automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes and Pevco pneumatic tube system [REQUIRED]
  • State License Requirements: Oregon

Shift Notes:

FULL TIME // 80-hours per two-week pay period

Weekend Requirements: Yes
Shift: Varied

Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $44.00/hour (This is a union position, rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable)
