Position Summary:Our Dermatology department has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe. This position will be for our Provo location. Come join our positive, fun, interesting, and fast-paced medical environment. If you enjoy making a significant contribution to patient care and are quick and thorough, you will enjoy this position.

Essential Job Functions:Some of the duties specific to this position are to assist with patient care examination and related tasks: Escorts patients to examination rooms, interviews patient and ensures all pertinent information is recorded and available to the provider. Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment. Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures. Calls results and relays messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner. Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions. Assist provider with in-office procedures.

Qualifications: Past experience as an MA or MA certification is preferred but not required. Previous experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology is very beneficial. Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail. Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional. Be able to multi-task and work efficiently. CPR certification required upon hire

Hours:Mondays through Fridays, 4 days a week.
