Leominster Public Schools is looking to hire a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work directly under a Licensed Speech Pathologist (SLP).

Job Description

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in the remediation or development of speech and language skills.
  • Document student progress toward meeting established IEP objectives.
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in documenting student progress
  • Plan lessons for both face to face and remote platforms.
  • Perform support duties such as preparing materials, keeping records, maintaining supplies, and scheduling activities.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, or other visual displays to communicate student's speech development.
  • Understand child development, managing challenging behaviors and social emotional learning.

Salary is dependent on experience.
