Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a CENTRAL MONITOR TECHNICIAN to join our MONITOR ROOM team!

The Central Monitor Technician has knowledge of and is accountable for the operation of the arrhythmia analysis computer in the central monitor station under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Central Monitor Technician performs those tasks for which they have been trained and have demonstrated competency as defined by this job description.

HOURS: Full Time 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours Biweekly

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills necessary for this position normally obtained through completion of a high school diploma. Healthcare related training such as LPN, EMT, MA, or nursing assistant preferred.

  • Advanced EKG course and/or competency examination to be done on hire.

  • Previous healthcare experience preferred to enhance and develop skills with LPN, nursing assistant, EMT, or other healthcare related experience.
