Stone Path Counseling is searching for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our compassionate team in Kent, Washington. You will work primarily in a remote capacity, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while engaging in virtual sessions and maintaining client records. Occasionally, you may need to attend team meetings or case conferences in our outpatient office, which fosters a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The work schedule generally follows Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional needs for evening or weekend sessions to support client availability.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and establish a clear understanding of their challenges and goals.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are customized to the individual goals of clients, utilizing methodologies pertinent to their specific situations.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote healing and self-discovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive client care, leveraging the expertise of colleagues in various specialties.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines to protect client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development through regular clinical supervision, case presentations, and attendance at workshops or training sessions.

Our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. We also specialize in working with those navigating addiction and trauma-related conditions. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the specific experiences and needs of each client, helping them navigate their emotional challenges and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated success in conducting individual and group therapy within mental health settings, showcasing a strong therapeutic presence.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapy techniques, with a solid understanding of interventions suitable for various mental health conditions.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills that allow for the building of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a remote therapy setting, with proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital communication.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health awareness programs.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
