Responsibilities

This position’s responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and software‑implemented business methods; drafting and reviewing intellectual property and technology‑related agreements and licenses; and providing patentability, freedom‑to‑operate, and due diligence assessments.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor, higher degree, or equivalent in Law
  • 7+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related degree and/or work experience
  • Excellent academic credentials and research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi‑task efficiently, and be an independent thinker
  • Licensed to practice law in California
