Bakers are responsible for preparing baked goods and displaying said. Bakers will also operate mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the bakery department. They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management. Bakers are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
