Pastor of Family Ministries - Community Baptist Church of San Mateo

The Pastor of Family Ministries will provide vision, energy, oversight, and direction to the Family Ministries of Community Baptist Church. The Pastor of Family Ministries will work with and disciple families to Christ, creating disciples of the next generation. The Pastor will promote Community Baptist Church’s vision of reaching people for Christ and build relationships with the lost within our community. In addition, the Pastor will share our vision and personal faith within the church body, our leaders, and volunteers.

• Follower of Christ
• Agreement with the doctrines and beliefs of the American Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church of San Mateo
• A person of integrity and humility
• An attitude of inclusivity and a spirit of curiosity
• Personable, Intuitive, Insightful
• Disciplined and self-motivated

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
• Creates and cultivates an environment for spiritual growth and discipleship
o Experience in ministering to diverse age groups (2-5 years exp preferred)
o Knowledge and application of Scripture in discipling
