Passenger Van Driver

PRN (As needed) | Flexible Hours - Days | Up to 10 hours/week

Pay: $20/hour

As a Passenger Van Driver, you will carry out our Mission of Love by transporting all Masonic Village's residents to the Masonic Health Care Center, Residential Living Area, and the Retirement Living area; and to transport assigned passengers on in-town and out-of-town trips and therapeutic recreation activities.

Our Passenger Van Driver, is responsible for the following:

  • Operate all vehicles used for transportation of Masonic Village's passengers in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains PA Driver's license and abides by all requirements of the license.
  • Transports passengers as assigned, and assists passengers in and out of vehicles in accordance with their physical capabilities.
  • Check general operation of all vehicles with special attention to daily checks of all safety equipment. Report vehicle equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Department personnel responsible for vehicle mechanical maintenance. Keeps buses neat and clean.
  • Responsible for operation of Masonic Village vehicles for the purpose of transporting residents and guests on activity outings, trips and shuttle runs. This would include notifying Masonic Village personnel when there is an emergency, logging accurate attendance and documenting activity as required.
  • Take assigned passengers to local transportation areas (airports, bus, and train stations).
  • Pick up and deliver all Masonic Village's mail as stated in the daily mail schedule.
  • Pick up and deliver material for Masonic Village's staff as directed.

What You Need as a CDL Class B Transportation Driver,:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Possess a current PA Driver's License.
  • Ability to drive cars, vans and other passenger vehicles.
