Position Summary
The Passenger Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and resident-centered transportation services for appointments, outings, and community activities. This role also supports resident engagement by assisting with mobility and ensuring a comfortable, respectful experience during all transport.
What You'll Do
  • Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and events
  • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle with care and attentiveness
  • Build relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interaction
  • Ensure all transportation follows state laws and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the community vehicle
  • Collaborate with Life Enrichment and care teams to support resident activities
  • Participate in training, meetings, and team initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • Valid driver's license with Passenger (P) Endorsement REQUIRED
  • Clean driving record (required)
  • Prior experience in assisted living, senior care, or customer service preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility (including light physical support)
  • Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
